Patrick Peterson, a former TCU Horned Frogs football player, was recently inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame. Peterson, who played for TCU from 2007-2010, was a two-time All-American and a three-time All-Big 12 selection. He was also a two-time Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year and a two-time Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Year.

He also had two punt returns for touchdowns and was a key contributor on special teams. In 2010, Peterson was a consensus All-American and was named the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year. He was also a finalist for the Jim Thorpe Award, given to the nation's top defensive back. Peterson was drafted fifth overall by the Arizona Cardinals in the 2011 NFL Draft. He has since become one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL, earning seven Pro Bowl selections and three First-Team All-Pro selections. Peterson's induction into the College Football Hall of Fame is a testament to his outstanding career at TCU. He is the first Horned Frogs player to be inducted since Minnesota Wright in 1984.
